This works introduces a more natural dimension within Yang Jing’s iconic Secret Fragrance series. In this work, a leaf size doll is seated on a plant contemplating the surrounding nature. The body has been consumed by the societal and environmental changes that have happened throughout China. Yang Jing adopts a poetic stance to reclaim real nature through an innocent dream.
