I began my photography studies while living in Switzerland at the
Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich. I left Switzerland and returned
to the United States. After much hard work and perseverance, I
opened my photography studio in San Francisco. For the next 15
years, I worked as a national fine art and advertising photographer
shooting campaigns for clients such as Sony, AT&T, Visa, Calvin
Klein, Marriott Hotels among others. My work was the inspiration
for the Dove Campaign on Real Women, Real Beauty, which
was shown in the United States and throughout the world. About
eight years ago, I traveled throughout the coastal towns of the
Costa Brava in Spain where I developed my current body of work
entitled Dreamscapes. I moved my photography studio to West
Palm Beach, Florida in 2004 in order to continue focusing solely
on my fine art work.
My photography work has received the following awards,
Artoteque Biennial Contemporary Art Award of Excellence,
International Color Awards Photography Masters Cup, Women in
Photography International, and Hasselblad Lurzer’s International
Screenings Award. My work has been exhibited at Stephen Wirtz
Gallery, San Francisco, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art,
Art London, England, Galerie Mark Hachem, Paris/New York,
Toronto International Art Fair, Art Palm Beach, Art Miami, and
Miami International Art Fair, for which one of my photographs
was chosen as the image to represent the Art Fair worldwide. My
photography work is in the permanent collection of the Patricia &
Phillip Frost Art Museum, Miami.
