I love the idea of a marriage of icons. These are two of my favorite images from growing up in the seventies. I felt that if I used two images that everyone could relate to, we would have a lot of interest. I don't think there's a person on the planet who hasn't seen the Playboy image or a Stormtrooper from Star Wars. I decided to fabricate these in two colors because the pink softens the slightly sinister Stormtrooper image, and I hoped to appeal to the huge 'Star Wars' female fan base, whereas the white version allowed me to keep the original color for the die hard fans.
