Fashion Week, Social Media Week and the College Art Association walk into a bar...

Actually, we have no idea what would happen... but with all the events going on this week someone is bound to have an art attack! (yeah, it's been a long one)
Anyway, we here at ArtStar HQ have been very busy running around all over town but here's some of the things we've been up to this week:
- we attended a SMWNY panel on "High Art vs. the Masses: How the Art World is Embracing the Social Web" where ArtStar Founder Chrissy Crawford Malone spoke alongside Paddle 8, VIP Art Fair, and ArtBattles. For once the whole audience was on their phones, and it was a good thing. Stay tuned for video.
- we did a great feature on our collaboration with Lynn Goldsmith and DIFFA (Deisgn Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) for the start of Fashion Week.
- The Economist did a piece on us and affordable art.
- oh, and we really want to hit Tara Donovan's opening tomorrow at Pace. Tara Donovon! Pins!
