So Armory week is well underway and we just want to send a big shout out to... everyone we've ever met or worked with ever! But honestly, we're having so much fun running around town and gorging on the phenomenal art that will fortify us for the months to come as bone-chilling winter (seriously, again?) turns into damp spring.

Yesterday we hit up the Armory VIP preview and were delighted to run into our friends from Art Fag City almost immediately (thanks for making us look good guys!), as well as the charming Katherine Newbegin, video artist Michael Alan, Jason Middlebrook, and Don Porcella (looking to be in fine ping pong form) all before we had even passed the bar. We were also delighted to cross paths with our friends from RH Gallery, Whitewall Magazine, and ArtStar newbie Micah Ganske (who owes us a hug).  Amid all the sensible black and insensible shoes, Creative Director Rich Hendricks even captured one of the more outlandish pieces on his flip camera - a snippet of which can be seen on our facebook page, before dashing over to the Art of Love auction where Zaria Forman's two gorgeous pieces were in high demand.

What else?

Well, for the team that needs to be in 5 places at once, we rely on a multitude of fair guides and commentary (and snacks). Two of our favorites come from Paddy Johnson and Angela Robins.

We would also strongly recommend catching Erik Benson's piece at Edward Tyler Nahmen at Pier 92 and the Honor Fraser booth - both exceptional. Likewise, we were very impressed by VOLTA's online catalogue.

Today we'll be at VOLTA and Pulse, tomorrow at Scope, the Moving Image Art Fair and Duane Reade buying asprin and insoles for our aching feet, and Saturday at SPiN!  Keep an eye out for Meenakshi Thirukode's guide to Middle Eastern and South Asian art at the fairs, coming tomorrow, and we just got a framed Richard Yumang in the office which looks soooo good (see below).
