Nimbus II by Berndnaut Smild

We're entranced by this piece by Dutch artist Berndnaut Smilde. Smilde creates artificial Nimbus clouds inside galley spaces (and churches, like in the above photo) using a smoke machine and then by carefully regulating the atmosphere and temperature of the rooms. The ephemerality of the work is completely entrancing in how it raises questions of where the work starts and ends.
