Ines de Seroux has been working in the art world for the past 7 years. She worked for an Old Masters dealer in Paris for 2 years specialized in Flemish and Dutch pictures. She moved to NY in 2004 when she joined Sotheby’s. After 2 years in the Old Masters department at Sotheby’s she decided to change fields and flew to China for a year to discover and learn about the emerging Chinese contemporary art market. There she traveled all over the country looking for some young artists and started dealing with a couple of galleries in the mainland and in Hong Kong. She came back to NY in October 2007 and established herself as a private art dealer. She curates shows in New York for a variety of venues. She actively visits China in search of new artists.
