By day, Jessica works for the Winston Art Group, a full service art advisory and appraisals firm in midtown Manhattan where she specializes in strategic marketing and client services on both the valuations and brokerage sides. Jessica’s past experiences include gallery work at the venerable Wildenstein Gallery, Bill Powers' lower east side Half Gallery, which shows the works of avant-garde contemporary artists, and Mike Weiss Gallery in Chelsea. She also worked for ArtCo, an innovative strategy company that pairs fine artists with brands to create synergistic collaborations, exploring marketing potential of the brand and the artist. Jessica has curated for public collections including the Hood Museum of Art and curates New Media shows at various venues in Manhattan, a subject in which she has developed an expertise after writing her Masters thesis in Variable Media Art and its conservation issues. Jessica currently contributes to the New York Observer's arts section. Her exposure to the best emerging and established contemporary artists on a daily basis and her ability to navigate the art market makes her an asset to building your collection with ArtStar.
