Casey Fremont is the Director of Art Production Fund. Casey grew up in New York City's GreenwichVillage and graduated from Boston University in 2004 with a Bachelor of the Arts, major in Art
History. She began working at Art Production Fund in the fall of 2004. While studying Art History
in Boston, Casey spent the summers of 2000 and 2002 working as an intern at Art Production Fund, and
Paul Kasmin Gallery in 2003. In September 2009 Casey Co-curated "That Was Then" at Rush Arts in New
York, and in January 2010 Co-curated "Look Again" at Marlborough Gallery, New York. Casey serves on
the benefit committees of New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Coalition for the Homeless'
Artwalk fundraiser and First Step luncheon. I love the work of Ryan Metlke. Ryan's paintings are
incredibly powerful and thoughtful. He delves into the depths of his own history growing up in
South Florida and depicts a very personal account while connecting the viewer to his work through
familiar symbols and imagery. He tells an itimate story with each painting. Each colorful,
prisiscion painted element that he renders is one important part of the overall narrative, which is
impossible to avoid being seduced by.
