New York based interior designer Dan Mazzarini and Chicago based artist Michael McGuire were introduced 20 years ago, during Dan’s time at Ralph Lauren Store Design. They have collaborated on projects featuring Michael’s work across the globe, with a shared affinity for gestural marks and hand drawn fluidity. Both are urban dwellers with midwestern roots, a shared sentimentality that is reflected in their first ArtStar collaboration. 

For this introduction, “Archive baskets” bridge vocabularies of urban grid and country weaving, and have been showcased in all of Dan’s private residences. 

This launch celebrates the duo’s shared love of crisp, bold architectural influence, with an approachable, interpreted subject matter.
