TENKILE

With my images I strive to cultivate fascination and excitement for the natural world and its inhabitants. Many of the species I choose to depict are threatened or lesser known creatures.

The Tenkile is one such animal. This charming mammal is found in the remote mountainous regions of Papua New Guinea. Despite being considered a Tree Kangaroo, this species is in fact known to spend a good deal of time on the ground. The Tenkile is critically endangered.
