LEMON THE LAMB

A trip to the market can be an unexpected adventure. Every aisle has its own type of microclimate, its own unique flora and fauna, like vast landscapes full of life... Meet Lemon the Lamb, part of Matthew Carden's SUPER MARKET series.

MATTHEW CARDEN

"Raised on a hearty diet of TV and movies, photography was a natural way to approach life and work. I grew up in Hollywood, lived in Spain, worked a lot, shot a ton of film. Came back to live in San Francisco, finished school, then opened the first digital photo studio in the city. Never shot any more film. I specialized in food photography, worked for an impressive list of clients, won awards, and became recognized for a unique 'playful' style with subjects. I approach every subject with curiosity and a sense of humor juxtaposing food and common everyday items in unexpected ways to illustrate an idea, product, or story."- Matthew Carden
