My Kips Bay Show House space was inspired by a Wong Kar Wai film, In the Mood for Love. I've always admired his film sets; they are highly romantic and evoke a strong emotion. I wanted to do the same in creating a luxe tropical lair, the perfect backdrop to a love story.

There is a long hallway in the space that is a bit hidden so I was looking for the perfect art piece to draw your eye through the space. I selected Curtain by Ulas and Merve because it's glamorous and cheeky.

Behind the final result

My studio custom designed every piece of furniture and we hand selected every piece of  the art, which proved to be so important in creating this ambience.
