RIDGELINE EASTERN PRAIRIE FRINGE ORCHID 4

“Connecting Communities through Creativity"
ET Projects is an artist collaborative created in 2018, spearheaded by renowned artist and sculptor Elizabeth Turk. The vision is to bring communities together through the magic of art and nature. Each project involves thousands of volunteer participants in the form of a social sculpture. ArtStar supports ET Projects by offering fine art, limited edition prints capturing the memory of our events and contributing to our future public experiences. These images share the symbols used atop our umbrella canopies and keep alive the joy, camaraderie, and hope experienced by thousands of volunteers.

ET PROJECTS

The Shoreline Project launched in collaboration with the Laguna Art Museum, in California, USA in 2018. 1,000 volunteers spontaneously created moving constellations. The second venue is to cross over to Asia.

ET Projects, a 501(c)3, was created in 2018 with the vision to bring communities together through the magic of art and nature. Shoreline Project was the first large scale immersive art experience launched in partnership with the Laguna Art Museum, in Laguna Beach, CA. The second venue was to be Vientienne, Laos, along the edge of the Mekong. Postponed by Covid-19, we reinvented and in 2020 and launched Project: “Look Up” in partnership with Mt. San Antonio Gardens. The images are of bold, resilient plants, each with a unique story of nature overcoming adversity. Spearheaded by Elizabeth Turk, an artist known primarily as a sculptor of marble, she expanded her portfolio to include public art experiences through ET Projects. A native to Southern California, she is a MacArthur Fellow, an Annalee & Barnett Newman Foundation and Joan Mitchell recipient. Her work has been represented by Hirschl and Adler, Modern in NYC for 20 years. It is important to acknowledge the team at ET Projects, the photographers responsible for documenting Shoreline Project and now, Project: “Look Up": Erik Thienes, Christopher Stobie, Eric Stoner, Madison Holler, Mike Townsend, Mike Thienes, Shirley Salvatore, Jay Brown and the hundreds of participants making our immersive art experiences come alive.
